Unable to setup Reports for Project Controller

We are trying to customize the various columns for Project Controller Reports.  However, in column maintenance we cannot figure out how we can get hours for reports such as labor Hours and Costs. Can someone explain the methodology of adding these columns for current hours and ytd hours?
