Our Accounting Manager decided to create a new Cash Account (also created to subaccount and account/subaccount combo) for an existing program. Her expectation was that the accounts would somehow merge automatically with the new activity since the start of the new fiscal year (10/1/2015) but of course, this did not happen.
Looking for options to carry the exiting transactions for the now old account into the new account. I have a feeling they will either need to reverse the existing and redo to the new account or just close the old account as of the day the new was created and carry forward from that day vs the start of the fiscal year.
