Can you please help me, I am trying to restrict a certain amount of users to access Dynamics, in other words lets say there is 20 users and I want to block up to 10 then after 10 users have logged on Dynamics should
not allow any more users. Please advise me on this and is this possible?

I am running SL 2011 SP3 on Windows Server 2012 R2 with SQL Server 2014. I have another Windows server running SharePoint Foundation 2013. I am attempting to install Business Portal 2011 FP1 for SP2013. During installation, one screen asks me to select a site collection with which to associate the Business Portal. If I configure a site collection to run as SharePoint 2013 user experience (theme), the site collection is available in the combo box, but the installer later fails with an error message which tells me to configure the site collection to run as SharePoint 2010 user experience (theme). If I configure a new site collection to run as SharePoint 2010, it does not appear in the combo box for association.
The only hotfixes I see related to Business Portal which may help are in regards to Windows Server, not SharePoint Foundation 2013.
Has anyone come across this issue?

When I print this report, box 2 wages are incorrect. I have found that there are 2 payroll deductions that are not listed as exempt from Federal income tax in deduction maintenance but those amounts are reducing the taxable wages in the report as if they were pre tax deductions. Is there a place besides the exemption tab in deduction maintenance that would make Dynamics believe that it is a pre tax deduction?
Any suggestions for BI Dashboards to use with Dynamics SL7 SP3?

i'm new developing with the SDK and i have the following error, i created a screen with 2 levels (Normal and Detail), when i load data on the grid and then i close the screen, it crash, but when i don't load any data in the grid, i can close it normally, i think that could be an error with the handeler but i'm not sure. i think that the cursors are succesfully create because i can load the data.
I cannot find any documentation on this. I have a 2011 FP1 SP2 environment that is in SQL Authenticated mode. I get "You do not have permissions to deploy reports onto SERVERURL".
Does SQL Authenticated Dynamics SL not support the deployment of Reports from the Report Server Configuration Console?
If it does support it, what are some things I may be missing that cause this error? I'm sysadmin in the database and there are no sharing issues. This deployment of Dynamics SL is not in the typical C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics.... folder.
For the 1st time in 25+ years with SL I've encountered something I have never seen before! My trial balance is in balance specifically the balance sheet but the YTD Net Income account balance is incorrect. When I calculate the true net income for the month it doesn't match the system generated net income for the month. How can this be? Better yet, how do I fix it? Any change to that account will put the balance sheet out of balance.

When I process The 941 Quarterly Federal Tax Worksheet, all number calculate correctly except for Line 5a Taxable Soc. Sec. Wages. This number is calculating a higher number that total gross wages for the quarter. I ran the W-2 calculation for 2016 and all numbers calculate correctly even box 3, Social Security Wages. Do these calculated numbers come from different places. I am not sure why they would be different.
I have a custom form with a SAFGrid control. How do I force the grid to refresh in code so that it reloads the data from the database? Call DetailLoad(Spread1) does not work. Neither does Edit_Save / Edit_Cancel. Thanks in advance. (Solomon SL 7)

How do you get rid of PP documents that continue to show on the Vendor Period Trial Balance? I've verified the APDoc table and found that the following fields have are all been properly updated but the document still shows.
OpenDoc=0, PerClosed=201505, DocBal=0, CuryDocBal=0, Selected=0
I also checked the APAdjust table AdjAmt field for the document and it shows 0.
This is happening in SL2011 FP2.

Trying to import check reconciliation from Excel

W/out owning the Application Server module, how easy is it to build an exe using Object Model to open the 10.400.00 screen and click the "Begin Processing" button, have have that .exe run on a Schedule (Scheduled Task)?

I recently added a new company from an existing system to Solomon. I brought forward the cash balance through the GL, however when I went to reconcile the Bank statement my reconciliation report is stating that I am out of balance with the Cash Manager Balance. I have entered all the deposits and outstanding checks into Solomon. The adjusted Balance is off a bit from the GL balance but that I knew would happen. I am concerned about the high balance I am off with the Cash Manager Balance. Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike
We have a situation where each week ends on Monday, but the period needs to be correct per day to avoid have split weeks for the end and beginning of the month. We have heard you can do this in SL2015 but can’t figure out how.

Consolidated Invoices (Order Management), we have customized the process and have it set to where it will Quick Send Consolidated Invoices. Our problem however is dealing with a credit invoice for discounts. The process will e-mail “consolidated” invoices on one invoice but when it comes to adding the credit to the "Consolidated" invoice for Quick Send it sends the credit as a separate invoice. The issue appears to be with the assignment of the ASID used for Quick Send. Is there a way to get this to assign the same number so the credit will appear on the same invoice? Or where the number is assigned so we can try to program it to assign the same ID?
